Collection umbrella·KYL-01·the second half of the job
What the shaker drops, the ground should not take.
Shaking the fruit off is only half the harvest. Every piece that reaches the soil is either a loss or an hour of someone's back. This is a folding canopy on a wheeled carriage that opens under the tree, catches what comes down, and then closes and rolls to the next one.

The machine
It is not a hand-held umbrella. It is a carriage that opens.
The name makes people picture something you carry in one hand. Look at the photograph: it is a frame on two wheels with a tow handle, and the canopy is strung across it. The frame is what carries the weight of the fruit — you are not holding a full load of it.

Close up
The parts that decide whether it is worth pulling out.
Nothing below is a render or a mock-up. Each is cut 1:1 out of the manufacturer's own photographs of this product, so what you see is what arrives.

The carriage
Two wheels, a frame and a tow handle. This is the part that makes the umbrella usable at all: it rolls into position under the tree and stays there while you work, instead of being held.

The canopy
A folding structure in a durable engineering material, spread across the frame. It is the surface the fruit lands on, and the reason the crop does not have to be picked up off the ground afterwards.

Under a real tree
A working site, not a studio. You can see how far the canopy has to reach to take the fruit from a mature tree, and how the operator stays outside it while shaking.
Full specification
Short, and deliberately so. The manufacturer's table for this product also carries a noise figure and a 6 m reach figure; both look copied from a machine table — this is a passive accessory with no power source, and its reach is not the same claim the 6 m shaker pole makes. We do not repeat them. The collection area is the one figure worth reading closely: the manufacturer's table writes it as “3-4m ~”, which we read as a lost superscript and take to mean 3–4 m² of coverage — ask us and we will confirm before you order.

Where it earns its place
Worth pulling out wherever the fruit would otherwise hit the ground.
It is the cheapest thing we sell and the one that changes the arithmetic of a harvest day most directly, because it attacks the loss rather than the labour.
Olive and other drop-prone fruit
Where the shaker brings the fruit down in a shower rather than a trickle, the canopy is the difference between collecting a crop and picking one up.
Stony or dusty ground
Where fruit that lands is not just dirty but bruised — and where a bruised load is a downgraded price, not just more washing.
Any of the three shaker series
The manufacturer lists it as compatible across the range, so it is an accessory to buy with the machine rather than a second decision later.
Small crews
With one person shaking and no second person gathering, the canopy is what makes a one-person harvest possible.
Where this one stops
It is a carriage, so the ground decides.
The manufacturer's Chinese product page says this plainly and the marketing copy does not: it suits fruit collection on flat ground. A wheeled frame that has to be positioned under a tree needs ground it can be rolled across and a trunk it can be laid around. On a terrace you cannot get it in, and that is the honest answer.
- Terraces, steep rows and anywhere a wheeled frame cannot be rolled into position. On ground like that, a hand-held catching sheet is the right tool and this is not it.
- Trees whose lowest branches are already above the reach of the canopy. It catches what falls; it does not reach up.
- Fruit you must handle gently from the moment it leaves the branch — a canopy catches, it does not cushion. Delicate crops still want a soft landing layer on top.
- Rocky or heavily ridged ground where the frame cannot sit level. A canopy that is not under the tree is not catching anything.
- Blocks where the fruit is cut rather than shaken — there is nothing for it to catch.

Service & parts
The parts that wear are the parts we keep on the shelf.
Claw heads, batteries, cables and trigger modules are the four things that wear out. We keep all four in stock, ship them by air, and send the video that shows the swap — most swaps take a single spanner and under ten minutes.
- 12-month warranty on the machine, 6 months on the collection umbrella
- Claw heads, batteries, cables and trigger modules held in stock
- Remote diagnosis by video call, in the language you write to us in
- OEM and ODM: your colour, your brand, your packaging from 50 units
- Minimum order 10 units · 15–30 days production · samples available

Tell us the crop, the tree and the ground.
Give us the crop, the tree height, the slope and what you use today. You get a straight answer on which series fits, what it will cost delivered, and the parts list — or an honest no if the crop is not one we can shake.
